Alongside our sales and management team attending our SNR project manager attended Cisco Live, focusing on fostering customer-centricity and collaboration with industry and peers. Here's a recap of the highlights from this incredible four-day event through the lens as a project manager.
Day 1: Arrival and Customer Connections
The journey began with meeting the interstate team and the day quickly transitioned into meaningful customer interactions; we’re reminded that face to face interactions really do strengthen partnerships.
In the evening, the IPTel team hosted a customer appreciation event. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with key clients, partners, colleagues and deepen relationships and exchanging ideas. The event set the tone for a customer-first approach that carried throughout the conference.
Day 2: Insights and Building Relationships
Day 2 started early with a networking Breakfast, providing an excellent platform to meet new contacts and discuss shared goals. The first keynote session highlighted Cisco’s focus on AI and security—both critical areas for driving customer success.
Throughout the day, our project manager participated in discussions with clients and partners, learning about their current challenges and exploring collaborative opportunities. Key moments included brainstorming sessions around security solutions and catching up with long-time customers to strengthen trust and alignment.
The evening ended with an event, adding a touch of informal networking to an already productive day.
Day 3: Exploring Solutions and Collaborating
Day 3 brought opportunities to delve deeper into the World of Solutions, where Cisco’s innovations were on full display. The project manager also found time to assist clients with real-time problem-solving and future project planning, reflecting a strong commitment to customer-centricity.
One of the highlights was a meeting with a platform manager from a key client organisation, discussing plans for a technology refresh. The day concluded with Cisco’s finale event—a vibrant celebration featuring food stalls, games, live music, and even a mini rollercoaster, emphasizing the importance of both work and play in building lasting partnerships.
Day 4: Wrapping Up with Impact
The final day was all about reflection and next steps. A breakfast meeting with Cisco colleagues set the stage for discussions around strategic alignment.
