AI-driven vulnerability discovery is a large part of why. Anthropic's Project Glasswing used a preview of its Claude Mythos model to find over 10,000 high- and critical-severity zero-day flaws across the world's most critical software in a single month, including every major operating system and web browser. The window from disclosure to a working exploit is now measured in days, and heading towards hours. For network teams, that points to one outcome. Patching frequency is going up, and it is not coming back down. Every patch is a configuration change on a live, critical platform. Identity services, firewalls, communications systems and network controllers all carry the load, and all need patching more often as single and chained CVEs climb. Patching faster only works if you can recover with certainty. Most organisations patch faster than they can back up and validate. Recovery is assumed, not proven. The session runs through: - What Backup Assure is, for those who have not seen it. A purpose-built appliance that backs up network infrastructure across vendors and protocols, deploys in around 20 minutes, and validates every backup rather than just storing it. - How backup is tailored to each platform. Cisco ISE, Catalyst Centre, Secure Firewall, CUCM and ACI each have different backup needs. Backup Assure handles each correctly, including full Catalyst Centre 3 backup management ahead of upgrades. - The Pro capabilities that matter at enterprise and government scale. Role-based access control, Microsoft Entra ID integration, and multi-environment support from a single appliance. - What is new. Backup coverage now extends across Aruba, Juniper and Fortinet alongside Cisco, plus a secure file transfer workspace and backup safeguard to keep a known-good backup set protected.
