We work through the room layout, camera placement, screen size and quantity, and microphone placement, so the equipment suits the space and the people at the far end of the table can be seen and heard as clearly as those at the front. After handover, support runs through our service desk. Cisco Webex room devices can join Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom and SIP meetings, so people use the same room whichever platform the invite came from. From the Advanced tier, we set up and manage that interoperability alongside calendar-integrated room booking. Room booking connects to Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Teams or Google Workspace calendars, and to Cisco scheduling panels outside the room. Booking a room can be as simple as adding it to a calendar invite, and the panel at the door shows whether it's free. For organisations that have standardised on Teams or Zoom, this is often the deciding factor. You get Cisco room hardware without asking people to change how they run their meetings.
